What you’ll be doing

— Head out for shoots around three times a week, covering restaurants, hotels, cultural spaces, events, new openings and everything else happening around Dubai;

— Shoot and edit Reels and other short-form videos that feel dynamic, natural and unmistakably PIKE;

— Create photo and video content for Stories and editorial posts;

— Occasionally film Telegram video circles straight from the action;

— Select your own footage and take ownership of the final visual quality;

— Develop ideas, scripts and new formats together with the editorial team;

— Keep up with social media trends and know which ones are worth adapting to PIKE — and which ones are better left alone;

— Stay curious about Dubai: know what’s opening, where people are going and what the city is talking about;

— Feel comfortable appearing on camera when the story calls for it;

— Take part in commercial shoots, collaborations and special PIKE projects.

Who we’re looking for

— You live in Dubai and can regularly move around the city for shoots;

— You're confident shooting on a phone and can independently edit short-form video;

— You know how to create a beautiful frame, but more importantly, you know how to tell a story through it;

— You understand Reels and Stories, follow social media trends and know the difference between content people want to watch and an ad they want to skip;

— You have a strong visual eye, a sense of humor and an understanding of what makes content shareable;

— Design and layout skills are a big plus;

— You can work independently, meet deadlines and take feedback without drama;

— You speak Russian and have enough English to communicate confidently on shoots;

— You're comfortable occasionally working evenings or weekends when something worth covering is happening in the city.

Experience in media, hospitality, lifestyle projects or working with local brands is a plus. But for us, a strong portfolio, curiosity and a good eye matter more than the number of lines on your CV.

Test assignment

Choose one place, event or phenomenon in Dubai that you think belongs on PIKE and create a short video about it.

Along with the video, send us a brief description of your idea, a script or storyboard, and a few visual or editing references.

We don’t need you to copy what PIKE already does. We want to see what catches your attention, how you tell a story and what Dubai looks like through your eyes. Show us how you see the city.
